Connecting Art and Health at Cone Health’s MedCenter for Women

Cone Health's MedCenter for Women partnered with local artists to create an environment that promotes healing and comfort. Featuring works from 56 artists, including Greensboro’s O’Brien Gallery artist Kristin Gibson. The collection provides patients with a calm and uplifting atmosphere. Pieces such as “The Gathering” by IlaSahai Prouty,“Thread of Life” by Monica Weber-Salinas and “Peace Pond” by Kristin Gibson, aim to capture the essence of women’s health journeys and foster a sense of connection. Through this initiative, the MedCenter reflects its mission of support and community in women’s healthcare.
